Nominated We learn that last week,
at senatorial convention held at Licking, Texas county, the notorious Wm.
Monks was nominated as the “eternal hate” candidate for State senator from
this district. This nomination, by the
McClurg men is one eminently fit to be made, as
Monks fills the bill (and a
large per cent over) as an “eternal hateite,”
and if all tophet was ranked through to the bottom
no more fit standard bearer could be found for that party. |
